Full Sail L.T.D., L-iquid T-o D-rink

So I encountered this lovely beer by Full Sail called L.T.D., which can mean anything you can think of, or Limited edition. They have three different kinds with different recipes for each. What is special about this one is the light, pleasantly hopped taste. Its has that amber style, or almost like a pale ale flavor to it. Its quite refreshing for a sunny day BBQ or a dinner beer at home. The L.T.D. has won 10 gold medals in the world beer championships, and has also won one from the North American beer awards.

Another thing I like about this beer is the fact that its 7.0% alc/vol. Unlike the Wassail from Full Sail, it is also 7.0%, which has a full bodied taste for the heavier drinker, the L.t.D.'s nice flavor compliments the buzzing feeling you'll have after two or three. Get ready for the Light Tasting Delicatessan that can sway the most stubborn of hearts.

In general Full Sails have been running around $6.99 in major grocery chains. I have seen them in little go-guy store to be full price at $7.99. Not really much of a difference but hey its still something.

Enjoy and feel free to leave me comments about your experiences with the beer or what you think of it.

Pyramid Outburst Works For Me.

PYRAMID OUTBURST
IMPERIAL I.P.A.

Pyramid Brewing Company has always been a reliable brewery for great beer. They have Thunderhead I.P.A., Haywire Hefeweizen, and Snow Cap Winter Ale. All of them are good choices, but none of them compare to their new spring imperial I.P.A. If you want a kick your ass, and a don't take more than three (seriously) kind of beer. You must try Outburst.

Its a whopping 8.5% alc/vol. Almost equivalent to two shots of whiskey in one bottle. A very pleasant taste. Especially for a beverage with a high percentage of alcohol and being an imperial I.P.A. So for those who don't know about I.P.A.'s, they are the bitter beer to those that only drink Miller High Life. Made with a lot of hops usual I.P.A.'s are average 5.5% - 6.5% alc/vol. and they have a robust taste that is hard to take if its your first time drinking it. With an Imperial I.P.A. you have an average 7.5% - 8.5% alc/vol., and a really rich, heavy taste. An Outburst though is pretty light for a high percentage beer. Not at all heavy, but robust and flavorful. It goes down quite smoothly. A warning though you will get really drunk if you drink a lot.

Right now you can find Outbursts wherever Pyramid beers are sold, but at QFC they are on sale for $6.99. Talk about a cheap beer to get you really drunk. HAHA.
